100% Real Bamboo. Bamboo is one of the most renewable resources in the world. These new mouldings cut and join beautifully. As with most natural finished mouldings, you will find some natural color variations. All sticks are 6.5’ long. These new mouldings are part of our growing new Eco-Collection. The Eco-Collection offers both photo frames and mouldings made from bamboo.

Compared to most hardwoods like oak and ash, which have a 30 to 60 year growth cycle, bamboo is actually a grass that grows to a harvestable height within 3 - 5 years. Some species of bamboo can grow up to 2 feet per day. After harvesting, bamboo does not require replanting, it has an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots, naturally replenishing itself, making it one of the most renewable resources known. Bamboo holds the promise of a sustainable, cost effective, and ecologically responsible alternative to the widespread clearcutting of our old growth forests.
